Wages subsidy and Winter energy payments coming to an end

Now that Spring is here the Work and Income Winter Energy Payments will be coming to an end. The Winter Energy Payment is an extra payment to help with the cost of heating your home over the winter months and will be finishing on October 1st. This will coincide with the cessation of the Covid 19 wages supplements and will likely start to put a strain on many peoples finances.
